On Tuesday, June 17, the Texas Super Kings (TEX) will play the Seattle Orcas (SEA) at the Oakland Coliseum in California in an attempt to extend their winning streak in the Major League Cricket (MLC 2025).
Texas, headed by Faf du Plessis, has won both of its opening MLC 2025 games. They defeated the Los Angeles Knight Riders by a total of 57 runs after beginning with an exciting three-run victory over the first-ever champions, MI New York. After dismissing the Knights for only 124 runs in 17.1 overs in their most recent match, the Super Kings will be feeling quite confident.
In contrast, the Seattle Orcas, led by the formidable Heinrich Klaasen, have only participated in one MLC 2025 match thus far. They lost to the reigning champions, Washington Freedom, by five wickets to begin their campaign. Washington needed just 13.3 overs to finish the run chase after holding Seattle to 145/9.

Oakland Coliseum Pitch Report:
The Oakland Coliseum's pitch has been favourable to hitters. Good bounce. No unpleasant surprises. The captain who wins the toss will try to bat first because teams that bat first have won four of the first six games. Although boundaries must be won because of the size of the outfield, runs are abundant once a batter enters. Unless there is a dream spell, expect another high-scoring match.
