Playing their second game of the season, IDream Tiruppur Tamizhans (ITT) lost to Chepauk Super Gillies (CSG) to begin their campaign. The total of 174 was easily taken down by CSG, despite a heroic effort by wicketkeeper-batter Tushar Raheja, who struck an outstanding 79. In the meantime, Dindigul Dragons (DD) defeated Lyca Kovai Kings (LKK) to start the season on a high note. With an undefeated 82, opener Shivam Singh spearheaded the attack, and the Ravichandran Ashwin-led team won thanks to a well-controlled all-around bowling display.
