On Friday, July 18, Zimbabwe (ZIM) will play New Zealand (NZ) in the third game of the current tri-series at the Harare Sports Club in Harare. Earlier this week, Zimbabwe fell by five wickets to South Africa in their opening match. Despite Captain Sikandar Raza's best efforts, they just managed to make 141/6 in their 20 overs after getting off to a sluggish start with the bat. With five wickets and twenty-five balls remaining, South Africa achieved the total in reply.

Conversely, New Zealand defeated South Africa by 21 runs to begin their campaign. Bevon Jacobs' vital unbeaten 44 on debut and Tim Robinson's tough 75 not out enabled the Kiwis to finish at 173/5. The Proteas were bowled out for 152 in 18.2 overs during the second innings.

Harare Sports Club Pitch Report:

The Harare Sports Club's surface has provided a fair game of bat and ball. In the T20I Tri-Series, the average scoring rate at the location is 8.19.  Early on, the new ball bowlers may get a trace of movement, but as the game goes on, the surface will gradually flatten.  In the second innings, the spinners might get a turn. The winner of the toss will probably bowl first unless the track is extremely dry.
