At the Dubai International Cricket Stadium in Dubai on February 9, the Dubai Capitals (DC) made history by defeating the Desert Vipers (DV) by four wickets in the final to win their first DP World International League T20 (ILT20 2025) championship. Sikandar Raza and Rovman Powell, two standout players, were instrumental in the Capitals' successful pursuit of a 190-point target.
In the last over, Sikandar Raza sealed the victory with a thunderous 34 off 12 balls, making him the night's hero. Earlier, Shai Hope's calm 43 and Rovman Powell's scorching 63 established a solid base. However, the chase got off to a disastrous start when David Warner was dismissed by David Payne in the second over. Mohammad Amir then quickly removed captain Sam Billings and Gulbadin Naib.
