On Sunday, March 16, Yuvraj Singh and Tino Best got into a verbal altercation at the India Masters vs. West Indies Masters International Masters League 2025 final. The Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur was the venue for the duel.
As the situation became somewhat heated, Brian Lara, the captain of the West Indies Masters, had to step in and break things up. Tino Best was even spotted being urged to remain composed in the centre by Ambati Rayudu. It all began after Tino Best finished his over and requested to leave the field because of a potential injury. Billy Bowden most likely requested Best to return to the middle after Yuvraj Singh brought up the matter with the umpire.
The West Indies speedster was unimpressed and charged at Yuvraj Singh. Yuvraj did not back down as Tino Best got in his face. The pair spoke for a while without indicating that they would back down. Yuvraj Singh took the strike shortly after and struck a huge six. He was spotted pointing his bat toward Tino Best right away. Everyone was reminded of Yuvraj hitting six sixes in Stuart Broad's over during the first-ever 2007 T20 World Cup by this scene.

Following a furious verbal altercation with Andrew Flintoff, Yuvraj achieved these six maximums. But during the second strategic time-out, Tino Best and Yuvraj Singh quickly made amends. Yuvraj, a southpaw, was spotted jokingly stroking Tino Best's back.
In the first season of the IML 2025, India Masters defeated West Indies Masters by six wickets thanks to a brisk 74 from Rayudu. In his 50-ball innings, the top-order batsman hit three maximums and nine fours. With six wickets remaining and 2.5 overs remaining, the Indian team managed to knock down the 149-run mark.
William Perkins and Brian Lara both fell for six-run knocks earlier in the day, but Dwayne Smith (45 off 35) had gotten off to a rather promising start. With 57 runs, Lendl Simmons emerged as the top scorer at the West Indies Masters. In the end, Vinay Kumar took three wickets. However, Shahbaz Nadeem was the best bowler, taking two wickets and giving up just 12 runs in his whole quota.
