During the first International Masters League (IML) T20, 2025, Sachin Tendulkar posted a video of his India Masters colleagues celebrating Holi. As he planned a practical joke to wake up Yuvraj Singh, the famed cricket player was spotted having a great time.
Resuming his role as a practical joker, Sachin Tendulkar organized the Holi festivities at the India Masters team hotel in Raipur. Yuvraj Singh was taken by surprise when he was sleeping late on Holi, the festival of colours when Tendulkar planned a lighthearted water gun attack. His teammates from the International Masters League (IML), Rahul Sharma and Yusuf Pathan, joined him after tricking Yuvraj into opening the door of his hotel room and then dousing him with paint.
In the video, which has gone viral online, Sachin stated right away that he would wake up Yuvraj, who on Thursday, March 13, scored a match-winning half-century in the first semi-final against Australia Masters. Leading the group as they made their way to Yuvraj's room and pretended to be hotel maintenance employees was the Little Master.
Sachin Tendulkar turns prankster:
Holi fun with my @imlt20official teammates, from blue jerseys to colourful moments, this is how we say, “Happy Holi!” 💙 pic.twitter.com/uhYBZvptVT

The former world champion opened the door as they called out to him, oblivious to what lay ahead. Sachin wished the renowned all-rounder a happy Holi and met him with a splash of water as soon as he left his room. It created touching images when the others joined in. Not content to stop there, Sachin and his colleagues pulled the same joke on Ambati Rayudu.
After that, the festivities shifted to the grass, where Tendulkar himself was singled out. As the squad revelled in the festive attitude, drenched in colour, Yusuf Pathan was spotted playfully dousing the cricketing icon with a bucket full of water. It appears that Indian cricket players celebrated Holi 2025 with their colleagues nationwide. Players from the Indian Premier League preseason camps, such as the Punjab Kings, Delhi Capitals, and Rajasthan Royals, celebrated the memorable day at their respective team hotels as Sachin Tendulkar led the festivities in Raipur.
