The video of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) and India great MS Dhoni celebrating his 44th birthday, which a large portion of Indian cricket fans eagerly await every July 7th, has been released and is quickly going viral on social media. In Ranchi, where he lives, the former wicketkeeper-batter was spotted cutting a cake with his pals. Although the specific location of the video is unknown, fans on X hypothesised that it might be from the capital city's Jharkhand State Cricket Association (JSCA) grounds.
Being the only skipper in cricket history to win all three white-ball ICC trophies is among his most noteworthy accomplishments. He led a youthful Indian team to victory in the first-ever 2007 T20 World Cup in South Africa, setting the stage for an amazing debut as captain.

Dhoni made history once more four years later as he led India to victory in the 2011 ODI World Cup, breaking a 28-year drought. Dhoni hit the decisive six at Wankhede Stadium to seal the match. He led the Men in Blue to the Champions Trophy victory in England in 2013, completing the ICC trifecta.
Having captained his team in 235 Indian Premier League (IPL) games, he holds the record for most matches in franchise cricket. After leading Rising Pune Supergiant in 2016, Dhoni rejoined CSK in 2018 and remained there till 2023. He commanded CSK from 2008 to 2015. Following Ruturaj Gaikwad's mid-season injury, he was recently given captaincy duties once more for the 2025 season. CSK won five IPL titles under his direction, which is tied for the most in the competition's history.
Due to a revision in the BCCI's regulations that permitted him to be regarded as an "uncapped" player because he had retired more than five years prior, CSK was able to retain Dhoni for a comparatively modest sum of Rs. 4 crore prior to the IPL 2025 auction.
