Both teams have won different stages of the game in the first Test, which has been an intriguing match for the Indian A squad now in Australia for the two unofficial Test matches. Australia A leads the match with seven wickets remaining and 86 needed to win at the end of Day 3.
The affected area was first sprayed with sawdust and then hammered to level it out. The hammer was taken by Indian pacer Mukesh Kumar, who notably carried out the groundmen's drill. There have been several thrilling moments in the match where players have shown off their exceptional cricketing abilities. But at the end of Day 3, Indian pacer Mukesh Kumar also made the decision to demonstrate some of his non-cricketing abilities. In a video posted by cricket.com.au, players and ground crew can be seen observing Mukesh Kumar as he uses a large hammer to fix the patches on the field.
Speaking of the game, India was bowled out for a mere 107 after Australia A won the toss and chose to bowl first, with Devdutt Padikkal scoring the highest at 36. Brendan Doggett was brilliant for Australia A, taking six wickets. On the strength of Mukesh's six-fer, India then held the hosts to 195 runs, giving their opponents an 88-run lead.
When throwing the ball, Mukesh Kumar was levelling the region where the bowler landed his foot. He is pacing, and the location is important to his team since a pacer can get hurt there. As a result, the Indian pacer gave it his all and is hoping to put on a strong show on Day 4.
