Thailand defeated the UAE by 54 runs on Sunday, while Nepal defeated the UAE by five wickets today to finish in the top two and secure their spot in the qualifier. When Thailand decided to bat against the United Arab Emirates, Nattaya Boochatham and Natthakan Chatham both scored 49 and 46 runs to help their team reach 144 for five.

The Thai bowler took over the dominance while defending the total. With two wickets taken by Thipatcha Putthawong, the UAE team won by 54 runs and finished their innings in just 90 runs. Following the win, Bangladesh and Scotland were joined in the Global Qualifier by Thailand and Nepal. With the remaining two berths still up for grabs, all eyes are now on the Europe and Africa Qualifiers.
