Ehsan Adil has been approved by the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026 Event Technical Committee to replace Jasdeep Singh in the USA roster. After Singh was sidelined due to a right shoulder injury he acquired during the warm-up match against New Zealand on February 5, Adil—who has played three Test matches and six ODIs for Pakistan but has not yet appeared for the USA—was called up as a replacement.

Before a player may be formally added to the squad, the Event Technical Committee (ETC) must approve their replacement. In a statement, ICC revealed, "The Event Technical Committee of the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2026 has approved Ehsan Adil as a replacement for Jasdeep Singh in the USA squad."

USA's Reshuffle for T20 World Cup 2026:

After Singh was sidelined due to a right shoulder injury he acquired during the warm-up match against New Zealand on February 5, Adil—who has played three Test matches and six ODIs for Pakistan but has not yet appeared for the USA—was called up as a replacement. Wasim Khan, ICC General Manager-Cricket (ICC Representative), Gaurav Saxena (IBC Representative), Hemang Amin (Host Representative), and Shaun Pollock (Independent Representative) make up the ETC for the ICC Men's T20 World Cup 2026.

On the other hand, Surya and Axar Patel scored a crucial 41 runs for the seventh wicket stand as India was struggling at 77/6. The Indian captain then demonstrated his power hitting and 360-degree stroke-making skills by hitting two sixes and two fours in the last over to help India reach 161/9 in 20 overs. With Arshdeep Singh and Axar Patel taking two wickets apiece and Mohammad Siraj taking three wickets for 29 runs, India choked the USA's innings and held them to 132/8 to win by 29 runs.
