In the U19 World Cup 2026 final in Harare on Friday, India defeated England by 100 runs to win the U19 Cricket World Cup for a record-tying sixth time. The global record for the biggest margin of victory in terms of runs in a U19 global Cup final was set by Ayush Mhatre's India, making it a historic victory.
India reached 411/9 in 50 overs because of a stunning 80-ball 175 from 14-year-old wonder Vaibhav Suryavanshi, who set the stage for the win. Caleb Falconer's incredible 115 off 67 balls kept England in the game, although they ultimately lost badly. On their way to the trophy, India won every single match.

Ben Dawkins, who scored 66, and Caleb Falconer, who top-scored with an incredible 115, both put up a fight, but England U19 were bowled out for 311 in 40.2 overs. With RS Ambrish spearheading the attack and taking 3/56 from his nine overs, India's bowlers maintained their composure as the Men in Blue won handily.
With an incredible strike rate of 218.75, Vaibhav Suryavanshi, the opener for the India Under-19 team, hammered 15 fours and 15 sixes in a massive 175 off just 80 balls. In order to further solidify India's dominant total, he and captain Ayush Mhatre formed a 142-run partnership off 90 balls for the second wicket. Later, he and Vedant Trivedi scored 89 runs off 39 balls for the third wicket.
In the final, right-arm pacer RS Ambrish was the most impressive player with the ball. Including one maiden, he returned a respectable 3/56 from nine overs. Manny Lumsden, James Minto, and Joseph Moores were all dismissed by Ambrish, who was instrumental in leading India to an unforgettable triumph over England.
