There are rumours that Rohit Sharma will join a different team before the Indian Premier League 2025 auction. It is noteworthy that Hardik Pandya was selected as the India captain's replacement after the captain was relieved of his duties at the Mumbai Indians prior to the 2024 Indian Premier League. Fans have offered a variety of ideas as rumours circulate around his possible departure from the MI camp.

Rohit was asked the million-dollar question by a fan during India's first Test match against New Zealand in Bengaluru. In response to the young fan's question regarding Rohit's chances of winning the IPL 2025, the 37-year-old said, "Speak with some respect." Not content to stop there, the fan recommended that he join Royal Challengers Bengaluru.

'Izzat Se Bol' says Rohit Sharma:

Talking about Rohit, India was bowled out for 46 runs, their lowest total at home, against New Zealand after he scored just two runs in the opening inning. In response, New Zealand came out firing, scoring 402 runs in the first inning to take a 556-run lead. After initially winning the toss and opting to bat, Rohit later expressed regret and acknowledged that he had misread the pitch.

According to HT, Rohit Sharma stated, "We believed it would do whatever it did in the first few sessions because we didn't feel like there was any grass on the field. And as the game progresses, it will turn. The first session is crucial whenever we play in India, after which spinners are used. Kuldeep was brought in because of his track record of taking wickets on flat fields. Therefore, we thought the pitch would be flatter than it actually was. I obviously misjudged the pitch because I didn't read it carefully enough. And we are in this situation today."
