Over the years, veteran Indian batsman Virat Kohli has emerged as a global superstar and the game's most well-known brand worldwide. The 36-year-old's face appeared on promotional banners for the next Border-Gavaskar Trophy (BGT 2024–25) in Australia as India prepared for the crucial five-match Test series against Australia, even though he was no longer the team's captain.

A recent social media video showing the MRF Genius Grand King bat, which Kohli uses, for slightly over ₹1.65 lakh serves as another example of that. At the Greg Chappell Cricket Centre in Sydney, his trademark MRF Genius Grand King bat is being sold for an incredible AUD 2,985 (about INR 1.62 lakh). This price is five times more expensive than the VIP tickets for Coldplay's next show in Ahmedabad.

Viral Video of Virat Kohli:

In his video, Australian YouTuber and podcaster Norman Kochanek stated that the bat costs 2985 AUD and can be purchased at a Greg Chappell Cricket Centre store. Kohli's signature is featured on the bat's sticker. Kohli's bat, with his signature on the sticker, is still a much more expensive item than Coldplay's most expensive concert tickets in India, which cost INR 35,000.

Although Kohli has always enjoyed hunting in Australia, the former captain of India has recently appeared to be completely out of touch in Test cricket. From 2016 to 2019, Kohli routinely averaged more than 55 Test matches annually. He really averaged 68.00 in 2019 and over 75 in 2016 and 2017.

In reference to the forthcoming BGT 2024–25 Test series, both teams will strive for vital World Test Championship (WTC) points in order to guarantee their place in the summit match. While the Indian squad is hoping to recover from their recent poor performance against New Zealand, hosts Australia are hoping to end their run of home series defeats.
