Ishan Kishan, the wicketkeeper, was at his most animated during India A's first unofficial Test match against Australia A. On Day 3, the wicketkeeper-batsman outsmarted the middle-order batsmen by being aggressive behind the stumps and continuously expressing his thoughts with the bowlers.
On Day 3, Kishan was seen giving left-arm spinner Manav Suthar insightful advice while handling Harris during a pivotal moment of play. The keeper pointed out that the Australian batsman was regularly leaving his crease, so he advised Suthar to change his delivery to be more straight in order to surprise Harris.
Ishan Kishan steals the spotlight:
Kishan said, "I promise you bowl a straighter one he will definitely get an edge." When Marcus Harris faced a delivery in the 30th over and attempted a forward defensive shot, he edged the ball, confirming his prediction. With a clean catch to dismiss Harris for 36, Kishan's quick reflexes behind the stumps made sure the opportunity wasn't lost.
While Australia's Marcus Harris was batting in the middle, Kishan, who is hoping to make a return to the senior squad, was observed lending his insights to left-arm spinner Manav Suthar behind the stumps. Ishan Kishan, an explosive wicketkeeper-batter, has recently had to deal with a number of difficulties, including losing both his central contract with the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India) and his place in the Indian senior team.

His withdrawal midway through the 2023 South Africa tour for personal reasons further strained his relationship with the board, and his decision to skip domestic cricket in favour of IPL preparations resulted in his exclusion from the central contracts list. In contrast to their dismal performance on the first day, when they collapsed for 107, India's second-innings batting performance was significantly superior, as they were all out for 312.
