Mitchell Starc recently talked about his most painful cricket memory in an interview with 7 Cricket. He disclosed that the memories of being removed on 99 against India in the Mohali Test and missing a century by only one run will always be with him. Senior cricketer Mitchell Starc shared his most horrible cricket memory ahead of the next Border-Gavaskar Trophy.

The Australian player told his wife, Alyssa Healy, that he is upset about being dismissed on 99 against India in Mohali. The cricket player has yet to score a century in the longest format, which is noteworthy. Although he came quite near, he was unable to reach the milestone in 2013. But in the first innings, Starc was Australia's top run scorer. India batted brilliantly and won by six wickets despite the opposition scoring 408.

Mitchell Starc takes a trip down memory lane:

Mitchell Starc, who is well-known for his deadly pace bowling, previously displayed his batting prowess. India and Australia faced off in the third Test match in Mohali during the 2013 Border-Gavaskar series. With a 139-run opening partnership, Australia got off to a strong start. Although Smith scored 92 as well, Mitchell Starc's incredible batting performance took centre stage.

In the meantime, Healy talked about her experience with Starc batting in the middle. The pacer reached the 60s, 70s, and 80s, and the Australia women's captain said she was out with friends when he reached his half-century. Healy said she had gone home to watch the action live after the 34-year-old reached his 90s, but only a few balls later, Starc got out to Ishant Sharma after nicking it to keeper MS Dhoni.

The Perth Test between Australia and India will begin in less than 48 hours. Australia's fast bowlers will thrive on the Optus Stadium's brisk wicket, thus Pat Cummins is probably going to play four seamers. Mitchell Starc will spearhead the attack, followed by captain Cummins and Josh Hazlewood. Since Nathan Lyon is the only spinner, all-rounder Mitchell Marsh might be included in the starting lineup as an additional seam option.
