Following the conclusion of the ICC Women's T20 World Cup Qualifier in Nepal last month, the complete schedule for the ICC Women's T20 World Cup 2026 has been confirmed, thereby finalising the 12-team lineup for what looks to be a historic summer of women's cricket.
Following a rigorous qualifying campaign that demonstrated the depth and strength of the women's world game, Bangladesh, Ireland, the Netherlands, and Scotland have all confirmed their spots to join tournament hosts England. A third of the teams competing in this year's event are from European countries, so it's also a momentous occasion for them.

There are some high-profile matches, such as the intriguing Group 1 match between India and Pakistan at Old Trafford on June 14. Group 2 also includes Australia and Bangladesh, with Bangladesh hoping to extend their winning streak from the qualifiers against some of the best teams in the world.

On June 13, Ireland will play Scotland in an intriguing all-Celtic match at Old Trafford to begin their World Cup campaign. They then go to the south coast to play England at the Hampshire Bowl on June 16 as part of an exciting doubleheader that also includes Sri Lanka and New Zealand, the current World Cup winners, earlier that day.
Players like Sterre Kallis will test themselves against top opponents during the Netherlands' ICC Women's T20 World Cup debut, which includes group-stage matches against Australia and India. From June 12 to July 5, the qualifying quartet will compete on the international arena in England and Wales alongside England, Australia, India, Pakistan, New Zealand, South Africa, Sri Lanka, and the West Indies.
