120 Bahadur OTT Release: Where and When to Watch Farhan Akhtar's War Thriller 120 Bahadur Movie?

Farhan Akhtar's most recent film was no exception to the rule that war movies must balance both box office success and critical acclaim. The Bollywood actor's war film, which told a stirring tale of bravery, selflessness, and patriotism, was widely praised by critics when it debuted in theaters but did not attract many moviegoers. 120 Bahadur did not do well in theatres despite receiving high praise from critics for its acting, graphics, and dramatic war scenes. According to trade estimates, despite having an expected budget of ₹80 crore, it only managed to collect ₹18 crore net in India and roughly ₹23 crore globally. Prime Video shared a montage of the film's powerful and poignant scenes on Instagram on Friday to herald the movie's OTT release. 120 Bahadur depicts the 1962 Indo-China War's Battle of Rezang La, in which 120 members of the 13 Kumaon Regiment held their position against a nearly 3,000-strong Chinese force. Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, a Param Vir Chakra recipient who commanded the valiant warriors, is portrayed by Farhan Akhtar. One of India's most renowned combat dramas, it emphasises bravery, selflessness, and leadership.

The film tells the tale of Major Shaitan Singh Bhati, who received India's highest military decoration, the Param Vir Chakra, posthumously for his exceptional valour at the Battle of Rezang La. Critics gave the movie favourable reviews, praising its performances and war scenes in particular. Despite having a stated budget of ₹80 crore, the movie only made ₹24 crore globally.

Even if 120 Bahadur's box office receipts were disappointing, the movie now has a new audience thanks to its OTT release on Amazon Prime Video India. Viewers may relive the heroic tale of Rezang La, which has received accolades from critics for its action scenes, scope, and cinematography, thanks to digital streaming.
