On December 5, the Malayalam action thriller starring Mammootty and Gayathri Arun opened in theatres. Kalamkaval will now make its OTT debut in addition to its theatrical launch, which took place more than a month ago. Yes, the movie's release date and OTT platform are now available. Fans can now stream the movie at any time from the comfort of their homes if they haven't seen it on a big screen or would like to see it again. The movie is coming out this week, guess what? The movie poster was posted by the streaming service on its X handle with the comment, "Stanley Das is coming! Witness Mammootty like never before in #Kalamkaval, streaming from Jan 16, only on Sony LIV." A few hours before the movie's premiere, Sony Liv stated that it is now accessible for viewing. The film centres on the Kerala police investigation in Kottayikonam, which intensifies with the discovery of minor hints about multiple unsettling incidents. Throughout the investigation, the case encounters strategic challenges. Key parts in Kalamkaval are played by Mammootty, Gayathri Arun, Vinayakan, Gibin Gopinath, Rajisha Vijayan, Shruti Ramachandran, Malavika Menon, Biju Pappan, and Azees Nedumangad. Mammootty is the producer, and Jithin K. Jose is the director. It lasts for two hours and seventeen minutes. A sum of R 25 crore was used to create Kalamkaval. The movie has made Rs 35.75 crore in net revenue and Rs 80.4 crore globally.
