Following the announcement of a truce between India and Pakistan, actor Salman Khan shared a post, but he quickly removed it. Salman issued a message on Saturday night on X (previously Twitter), but he later removed it after receiving criticism for failing to respond to Operation Sindoor.

Shortly after the declaration, the actor, who had been conspicuously silent during India's military response to the Pahalgam terror assault, Operation Sindoor, tweeted about the truce. But after receiving harsh backlash from online users, Khan was forced to remove the tweet shortly thereafter.

Salman Khan gets trolled:

A number of well-known Bollywood stars have publicly shown their support for the Indian military and denounced the terror incident in the Pahalgam district of Jammu and Kashmir in recent days. Actors, filmmakers, and residents all welcomed India's retaliatory strike against terrorist hubs, Operation Sindoor. When the ceasefire was declared, Salman Khan posted, "Thank God for the ceasefire," but he did not remark on the Indian Army's efforts or the tense border situation. Soon after the first terror attack in Pahalgam, the actor wrote a condolence message, which was his final post about the disaster.

26 people were killed in a terrorist assault that occurred in Pahalgam on April 22. On May 7, the Indian Army retaliated by initiating Operation Sindoor, a focused military operation against Pakistani terrorist infrastructure. Following days of escalating hostilities, both countries decided to stop all military operations and gunfire. In a concerning turn of events, sources indicate that Pakistan has already broken the ceasefire just hours after it was declared. Late Saturday night, there were reports of more attacks in some parts of India, which infuriated and disheartened the populace over the betrayal.
