Breaking: Nana Patekar Walks Out of O Romeo Trailer Launch Midway

For the cast and crew of O'Romeo, the trailer's debut in Mumbai was supposed to be a happening occasion. But when seasoned actor Nana Patekar left the event in the middle, it unexpectedly attracted notice for a different reason. After waiting for the program to start for about an hour, Nana Patekar exited the gathering, according to those in attendance. He decided not to wait any longer and left, a moment that soon became the evening's talk of the town.

Filmmaker Vishal Bhardwaj discussed legendary actor Nana Patekar's absence from the O Romeo trailer presentation on Wednesday. He revealed that the actor left the location after the event was postponed by almost an hour. Photographers spotted the 75-year-old Patekar outside the venue, but he did not attend the main event, which featured Bhardwaj, Shahid Kapoor, and Triptii Dimri.

O Romeo Trailer Controversy:

The filmmaker said, "In a class, we've often had someone who bullies other kids, but also entertains, and yet everyone wants to be around him. So, Nana is that person. Our friendship is of 27 years old, but we're working for the first time together. If he were here, it would've been fun. But in his signature style, he said, 'Mujhe ek gaanta wait karaya, main jaa raha hoon'. We didn't say anything because this is what makes him Nana Patekar."

Although Bhardwaj and Patekar have been friends for a long time, O Romeo is their first professional cooperation. When he was still in school, the filmmaker remembered seeing Patekar's early work. O'Romeo is an action-thriller drama that takes place in the grim and dark underworld of Mumbai and is based on actual events. Shahid Kapoor, Triptii Dimri, Nana Patekar, Avinash Tiwary, Tamannaah Bhatia, Farida Jalal, and Disha Patani are among the actors in the movie. A unique role is played by Vikrant Massey. The movie, which is produced by Nadiadwala Grandson Entertainment, will hit theatres on February 13.
