O’Romeo Movie Cast Salary: Shahid Kapoor's Big Paycheck Revealed?

Bollywood actor Shahid Kapoor most recently starred in the 2024 sci-fi rom-com Teri Baaton Mein Aisa Uljha Jiya, which costarred Kriti Sanon, and Rosshan Andrews' 2025 action-thriller Deva. Additionally, his most recent movie, O'Romeo, which was directed by Vishal Bhardwaj, is currently showing in theatres. The film seems to be a chic blend of romance, action, and the underworld based on the trailer. But it's still unclear how the picture will be received by reviewers and viewers in the days ahead.

The lead actor, Shahid Kapoor, reportedly received an incredible Rs 45 crore, making him the highest-paid member of the cast. Triptii Dimri, the principal actress in Vishal Bhardwaj's film, reportedly earned Rs 6 crore for her performance. Avinash Tiwari reportedly received close to Rs 7 crore for his work.

According to reports, veteran actor Nana Patekar charged Rs 4 crore for the romantic action movie. According to rumours, Disha Patani, who plays dancer Julie in the movie, received Rs 2 crore. According to reports, Vikrant Massey and Tamannaah Bhatia received no payment for their parts in the movie.

O'Romeo is set in Bombay in the 1990s and is said to have been inspired by a passage in Hussain Zaidi's book Mafia Queens of Mumbai. It supposedly centres on mobster Ustara (Shahid Kapoor), whose life takes a turn when Afsha (Triptii Dimri) asks for his assistance in exacting revenge on Jalal (Avinash Tiwary) for the murder of her husband. The narrative takes an emotional turn when Ustara starts to feel something for her when she joins his gang.
