Due to their show, India's Got Latent, Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia are in serious difficulty. A'sex with parents' joke that Ranveer made with a participant on Samay's show drew harsh criticism on the internet. Following the filing of FIRs against them, the Supreme Court has ordered Samay to remove his episodes and refrain from releasing any new material till further directives. A video from an unaired episode of the show is going viral amid the SC ban.
In the widely shared video, Samay Raina is joined by Farah Khan, Uorfi Javed, and Tanmay Bhatt as guest judges on India's Got Talent. Samay unexpectedly brushes Farah's foot as he welcomes them on stage in the video. Joking about slamming the comedian, she stops him. The episode appears to have been filmed in December 2024, last year. Following some disparaging comments about her, Uorfi was observed leaving the performance.

Fans of the show are demanding the comedian to release the upcoming episodes. However, as per the official orders he has been directed to delete and not upload any more videos until further notice. This has led his fans and followers furious on social media.
In the meantime, the Supreme Court stated in the Ranveer Allahbadia-Samay Raina Controversy: "The words you have chosen, parents will be ashamed, sisters will be ashamed. The entire society will feel ashamed. The perverted mind. These are the levels of depravity you and your henchmen have gone. We have a judicial system, bound by the rule of law. If there are threats, the law will take course."
Although Ranveer is shielded from the several FIRs that have been brought against him, the Thane police station has confiscated his passport, and he is not permitted to leave the country without the court's approval.
