According to recent sources, Sharvari Wagh has been chosen to play the female protagonist opposite breakout actor Ahaan Panday in the upcoming high-profile film from Yash Raj Films (YRF). The untitled movie, which is being marketed as an action romance, will be directed by Ali Abbas Zafar.

The source revealed, "You have two fantastic actors who have proved that sheer acting talent can pull people to theatres. This excites big film-makers like Ali Abbas Zafar to make a young film that has romance at its core but is also an action entertainer. After decades, you have debutants and young actors with box office credibility. Ali has two of the best actors with him now for his vision to create a young action romance that is rooted in its emotions."

Sharvari Wagh & Ahaan Panday's Next Movie:

According to Biz Asia Live, this project will be Sharvari's first YRF endeavour in which she will take the lead, and it will mark a significant milestone. Her casting indicates YRF's intention to keep developing new talent, as she has already gained recognition for her roles in the commercially successful horror-comedy Munjya and her YRF debut Bunty Aur Babli 2. Sharvari already has a big role alongside Alia Bhatt in Alpha, the much-awaited YRF Spy Universe movie that is scheduled for release around Christmas 2025.

In his next feature, Ahaan Panday, whose first movie, Saiyaara, was a box office hit, will play Sharvari's opposite. Because of the great reception his debut film received, the newcomer is now one of Bollywood's most exciting up-and-coming actors. The unique combination of Sharvari and Ahaan, which is essential to the large-scale production, is the subject of early business buzz.

With this film, Zafar makes a noteworthy comeback to the YRF brand after a nine-year hiatus. Because of his track record of helming exciting action and drama blockbusters, such as Sultan and Tiger Zinda Hai, fans have been anxiously anticipating the filmmaker's return to the studio. According to insiders, there will be a strong love theme mixed with Zafar's signature dramatic action scenes. Pre-production is reportedly already underway, and the producers are planning a big global shoot schedule. After March 2026, production will start in earnest, with the UK providing the setting for a number of important scenes.
