Fans often look up to their favourite Bollywood couples for goals, however, there are times when these breakups hurt their fans more than themselves. Bigwig stars like AR Rahman, Arjun Kapoor and Malaika Arora split up this year breaking many hearts on social media.

5. A.R Rahman and Saira Banu:

After over thirty years of marriage, Oscar-winning composer AR Rahman and his wife Saira Banu are divorcing, their attorney Vandana Shah revealed on Tuesday. "Significant emotional strain" was the couple's justification for their choice.

4. Hardik Pandya & Natasha Stankovic:

Hardik Pandya and Natasa clearly had a difficult time deciding to part ways. They acknowledged the gravity of the situation in a joint statement issued on July 18, 2024: "Hardik and I have decided to mutually part ways after four years of being together."

3. Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor:

When Malaika Arora and Arjun Kapoor first began dating in 2018, they frequently posted romantic photos from their trips to Instagram. They did, however, split up in 2024. In keeping with his split with Malaika Arora, Arjun Kapoor acknowledged he was single during the marketing of his film Singham Again. Malaika, however, remained silent about the issue.

2. Dhanush & Aishwarya Rajnikanth:

In November 2022, some eighteen years after getting married, they formally announced their separation. After that, they filed a petition for divorce on mutual consent and went to the family court to get formally separated. They appeared before Subhadevi, the family court judge, on November 21, 2024, and the hearings were conducted on camera. They were adamant about splitting up, though. In November, the judge gave them a divorce as a result.

According to reports, Urmila Matondkar has filed for divorce from Mohsin Akhtar Mir, her spouse of eight years. Due to their 10-year age difference, the couple's 2016 interfaith union attracted national notice. Although the circumstances behind their breakup are yet unknown, rumours indicate it was not mutual.
