On March 30, Salman Khan's much-anticipated Eid 2025 film Sikandar will be released in theaters. The film is expected to make between Rs 23 and Rs 35 crore on Sunday (Day 1), with a significant increase to ₹40 to 50 crore on Day 2 during Eid. Rashmika Mandanna, a member of the cast, is referred to as a "lucky mascot" because of her recent success at the box office, which includes Animal and Pushpa 2. Salman Khan might join the ₹500-crore club if Sikandar proves to be a huge success, according to industry experts.
About 2.2 lakh tickets were sold for the Hindi version of the movie, earning it Rs 6.46 crore, according to industry tracker Sacnilk. Sikandar has made a total of Rs 13.53 crore after accounting for blocked seats. It is evident from early projections that it will make about Rs 30 crore on its first day of operation, with that amount expected to rise on Monday (Eid).
Sikandar to dominate the box office:
It's interesting to note that Salman Khan, one of Bollywood's most bankable stars, has not yet produced a film worth ₹500 crore. Sunny Deol did it with Gadar 2, and Shah Rukh Khan did it with Jawan and Pathaan. With Animal and Chhaava, respectively, even Ranbir Kapoor and Vicky Kaushal accomplished the feat. Strong content and a well-known brand let Stree 2 effortlessly surpass the milestone.
Salman Khan will be spotted in a new pair with Rashmika Mandanna, a young actress, in Sikandar. Kajal Aggarwal, Sharman Joshi, Suniel Shetty, Prateik Smita Patil, and others are also in AR Murugadoss's movie. The first review of the movie Sikandar was released prior to its theatrical debut. Sikandar received a 4-star rating from the Always Bollywood portal on X (previously Twitter), which also commended the entire ensemble, including Salman.
