The curse has been lifted by Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB), who have won their first IPL championship. They made history by defeating PBKS by 6 runs in the IPL 2025 final, and their colleagues sent them heartfelt congratulations. RCB scored 190 runs in the first inning of an exciting IPL 2025 final. In contrast, PBKS lost wickets in succession and were flattered during the chase. Shashank Singh battled with 61* off 30 balls when 29 were needed off the last over, but his team lost the trophy by 6 runs. Bengaluru's rival IPL teams congratulated them on their well-deserved win as they raised the renowned trophy.

Despite their long history of being bitter opponents, CSK wished RCB well in order to share love off the field. In addition, CSK offered PBKS flowers for their valiant efforts. The moment that RCB's players, coaches, support, and other staff raised the trophy was captured on camera and shared by CSK. They wrote, "Congratulations on the maiden IPL championship, RCB!"

The five-time champions gave the losing team a message of strength throughout difficult times and did not forget them in the final. In their first appearance on the main stage since 2014, they commended the Kings' efforts to give the eventual champions a hard time in the final. The post read, "Chin up, Kings! After a 17-year wait, RCB announced their maiden IPL title, and their rival teams congratulated them on breaking the curse with excellent sportsmanship. While the SRH considered it a well-deserved triumph, the Mumbai Indians referred to it as a powerful and unforgettable campaign. Several teams provided uplifting comments for RCB, including DC, KKR, and RR.
