The match between Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) and Punjab Kings (PBKS) at the Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad on Tuesday, June 3, will determine the winner of the 18th Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. With a thrilling victory over a determined Mumbai Indians (MI) in IPL 2025 Qualifier 2 on June 1, Punjab Kings earned their second appearance in the title match, while RCB advanced to their fourth IPL final.
This will be the first time since 2016 when two teams that haven't won the event will compete in the IPL final because neither team has ever won the crown. RCB and PBKS faced off in Qualifier 1, but it was a lopsided match in Mullanpur. Under new skipper Rajat Patidar, RCB has been dominant in the IPL 2025. Even though Phil Salt and Virat Kohli have been at the top, other players have helped them earn a spot in their fourth IPL final.
