In a recent social media behind-the-scenes video, the Royal Challenger Bengaluru (RCB) franchise shared a humorous moment. Yash Dayal and Rajat Patidar discussed Swastik Chikara's audacious decision to use Virat Kohli's cologne without his consent. On social networking sites like Instagram and X, the video gained a lot of popularity.
Dayal stated in the RCB-uploaded video, "We were sitting in the dressing room after our last game in Kolkata. He went and from Virat Kohli's bag, took out a perfume bottle and used it without even asking. Everyone started laughing. He didn't even do anything; he was sitting like this [gesturing]." Patidar added, "Virat bhai was right there. I was wondering what this guy is doing."
Notably, RCB began their Indian Premier League 2025 (IPL 2025) campaign with a resounding victory over KKR. Their dressing room has been filled with smiles ever since they arrived. The video that RCB shared on social media showed how the positive vibes in the dressing room have spread to every player.

Although some of his colleagues felt that Chikara's actions were a little unconventional, the 19-year-old's explanation suggests that he was unconcerned by Kohli's presence. Chikara said, "He's our elder brother, isn't he? So I was checking to ensure he doesn't use a bad one. So I tried it. He asked me how it was. I said it's nice. I was only checking to let you know. I was checking to ensure he doesn't use a bad one"
Between their first and second games, RCB is taking a six-day break. After defeating the reigning champions KKR with ease, RCB will travel once more on Friday to play the Chennai Super Kings (CSK). Earlier, when KKR was looking to easily break the 200-run cushion, captain Ajinkya Rahane hit a fantastic 56 and shared a 103-run partnership for the second wicket with Sunil Narine (44, 26b). However, the RCB bowlers put on a fantastic comeback, led by Krunal Pandya (3/29), a left-arm spinner. Josh Hazlewood, a pacer, claimed two wickets.
