The CPL 2024 is shaping up to be a really interesting league, full of dramatic on-field moments and exciting cricket matches. After Imad Wasim was declared out in the match's tenth over against Sunil Narine, a major debate broke out in the 20th encounter between the Antigua & Barbuda Falcons and Trinbago Knight Riders. There were unfiltered, visceral moments on the field during the game's more than five-minute interruption.

After Narine and the other TKR players filed an LBW appeal, the on-field umpire first declared Imad Wasim not out. After they made the decision to use the DRS, the third umpire overturned the on-field ruling, and Wasim was declared the winner. The Pakistani celebrity, however, was not thrilled with the choice and vehemently objected. After a contentious exchange with the umpire, he told everyone to watch the replays, which amply demonstrated an inside edge onto the pad, then left the field.

Big on-pitch fight in CPL 2024:

Wasim left the field, and Curtly Ambrose, an ABF support staff member, was obviously upset by the ruling. The decision to bring back Imad Wasim by the umpires, after considering the replays and the Falcons' camp's objection, was met with disapproval by the players of the Trinbago Knight Riders.

Following a violent argument between the umpire and Knight Riders captain Kieron Pollard, there was confusion on the field and uncertainty about the outcome. Imad Wasim was eventually allowed to continue by the umpires, although it was one of the uncommon occasions in which a batter was summoned back to bat after going back to the locker room. Using that lifeline to its fullest potential, Imad Wasim led the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons to victory over the formidable Knight Riders at Queen's Park Oval.
