WATCH: Shaqkere Parris hits a massive 124m SIX at CPL 2024

On Thursday, the Trinbago Knight Riders played against the Guyana Amazon Warriors during a CPL match. In a CPL game against the Guyana Amazon Warriors, Shaqkere Parris hit a six for Trinbago Knight Riders. He opened the batting, moving his left leg to make space for the swing, and he hit an overpitched ball precisely where he had hoped. Fielders and fans alike watched in awe as the ball soared out of the park after making a strong connection with the bat. 

Despite the compact grounds and improved bats, 100-meter sixes are not frequently heard in cricket. To crush something over the 100-meter threshold requires some work. However, Shaqkere Parris of the Trinbago Knight Riders struck an incredible 124-meter six on Thursday during a CPL game, sending the ball skyward.

Parris and Sunil Narine were chasing 129 to win, and Parris wanted to start his team off strong. Regretfully, Narine passed away at the age of 11. Parris, who hit a run-a-ball of 29, was the next to depart. The Knights eventually found themselves in trouble, but that's when Andre Russell (36* off 15 balls) used his experience to get his team over the finish line with four balls remaining.

Player of the match Andre Russell remarked, "Being back in the middle feels fantastic. I've been having trouble ever since my ankle injury, but these guys have been working so hard to get me back on the field. Following the physiotherapist's instructions requires commitment. I am confident that I can hit sixes, and I know David can hit sixes as well. We need to achieve eight sixes in twenty-four balls, I told Tim. Bravo is a real champion, and we could have handled the remaining balls."
