Members of the Indian squad arrived at Mumbai Airport on Monday night following their victory in the Asia Cup. Here, the team was warmly welcomed. In reference to the trophy dispute, Captain Suryakumar Yadav stated, "It was crucial to react to Pakistan."
Hardik's efforts and Suryakumar's leadership were crucial to India's triumph in the continental competition. Unfortunately, Hardik's injury to his left quadriceps prevented him from participating in the top match. In the meantime, Kuldeep Yadav finished as the tournament's top wicket-taker and Abhishek Sharma as its top run-getter.

After winning the Asia Cup, 35-year-old Surya talked about his coordination with the coach. The relationship between the two began in 2012. Surya was Gambhir's deputy as he guided the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) to their maiden IPL championship in 2012. "The level of trust between the two is very high," the Indian skipper told RevSportz's Boria Majumdar. Surya also responded to inquiries about the final game and the trophy dispute.
Regarding the Asia Cup 2025, India appeared to be far superior to its opponents in terms of skill and experience, and it finished the competition undefeated. In the last match of the Super Four stage, only Sri Lanka was able to mount a challenge. But by remaining composed in the Super Over, India secured the victory.
The two-match Test series between India and the West Indies will now be contested at Ahmedabad for the first Test and Delhi for the second Test. They will play Australia in their upcoming big assignment. Three ODIs and five T20Is will make up the white-ball visit to Australia. Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma will also return in their national colours for the ODI leg.
