On June 29, in the West Indies, Rohit Sharma and company made history by winning the T20 World Cup 2024 in Barbados. Everyone's attention was drawn to the victory celebration when Rohit mimicked Messi's well-known walk from the FIFA World Cup. At the 45th Chess Olympiad in Budapest, the Indian team followed Rohit Sharma.

At the 45th Chess Olympiad, the Indian women's and men's teams created history by taking home the gold medals. Both groups imitated the well-known "Robotic Walk" performed by Rohit Sharma. The identical video is becoming extensively shared on social media and growing viral. The women's team overcame Azerbaijan to win gold, while the men's team defeated Slovenia in the final to secure the medal.

The video was quick to go viral on social media. The Indian Chess Team won over the netizens with their iconic celebration. Fans flooded the comment section with praises and appreciation for the Olympiad winners and they also hailed their celebratory dance. 

In other news, the Indian squad is off to a great start in the Test series against Bangladesh. They prevailed by 280 runs in the first Test match held in Chennai. On September 19, they will play the visitors in the second Test at Kanpur's Green Park Stadium. Thanks to the massive efforts of Shubman Gill and Rishabh Pant, India set a lofty goal of 515 ahead of Bangladesh, which they were unable to meet.

R Ashwin, a local, was unstoppable in the opening Test match. He amassed an incredible hundred runs in the first innings and took six wickets in the second, earning the title of Player of the Match. Ashwin's 37th Test fifer and sixth Test ton came from this match.
