On Monday, September 2, the Guyana Amazon Warriors (GUY) and Trinbago Knight Riders (TKR) will square off in the current CPL 2025 Final at Providence Stadium in Guyana. It's interesting to note that both teams have faced off twice this season, with one victory for each.
The Warriors, captained by Imran Tahir, have excelled in this competition. They won six of their ten games in the group stage, making them the second team to advance to the knockout stage. They subsequently defeated the Saint Lucia Kings by a commanding 14 runs in Qualifier 1. Following the conclusion of league games, the squad led by Nicholas Pooran topped the points table. They won five of the ten games in the group stage. The team just defeated the Saint Lucia Kings in Qualifier 2 and the Antigua and Barbuda Falcons in the Eliminator.
