The first Twenty20 International of the current white-ball series between Ireland (IRE) and the West Indies (WI) is scheduled for Thursday, June 12, at the Bready Cricket Club in Bready.
Both teams recently played each other in an ODI series, with the host team winning the first match and the West Indies winning the third. The series was tied at one when the second match ended without a result. Notably, they will be playing each other in a T20I series for the first time since 2022. In order to finish the tour with a series victory, both teams will be hoping that the weather doesn't ruin things like it did during the ODI leg.

Bready Cricket Club Pitch Report:
The Bready Cricket Club Ground's track is expected to aid fast bowlers in their early use of the new ball. Particularly in the first half of the innings, the seamers could get some movement off the deck aside from a few pacers. In T20Is, the average score is between 125 and 130, and teams that bat second win 55% of the matches. It may make sense to bowl first if rain is expected throughout the game.
