There is just one game left in the Anderson-Tendulkar Trophy 2025, and India is already 1-2 behind and out of the running to win the series. The most that India can do is end the visit against England on even terms. India is beset by injuries ahead of the crucial fifth and final Test, which starts in London on July 31. Former cricketer Wasim Jaffer has sent his ideal playing XI for the match.

Wasim Jaffer, a former cricket player, has disclosed his ideal starting lineup for the pivotal match, which noticeably leaves out renowned pacer Jasprit Bumrah. Kuldeep Yadav, on the other hand, secures a spot on the team. Jaffer shared his recommended starting lineup on his official X (formerly Twitter) account on July 30. Attention was drawn to Jasprit Bumrah's absence from the starting lineup, which supported rumours that the seasoned fast bowler might be rested for the last Test.

IND vs ENG Final Test Updates:

Jaffer substituted Akash Deep, who was sidelined for the fourth Test because of a back problem. The left-arm pacer Arshdeep Singh is another noteworthy addition. Anshul Kamboj, who made his debut in the last game, has been benched by Jaffer. The Indian openers have been performing admirably, particularly KL Rahul, who has scored a few hundreds and as many half-centuries in his four games thus far, making him the second-highest run scorer in the series. Sai Sudharsan, India's top run scorer in the first innings in Manchester, is still the player Jaffer has faith in at number three. India captain Shubman Gill, who has already scored a record 722 runs, will come after him.

Wasim Jaffer's India XI Prediction for the Fifth Test: Shubman Gill (C), Dhruv Jurel (WK), Ravindra Jadeja, Washington Sundar, Kuldeep Yadav, Mohammed Siraj, Arshdeep Singh, Akash Deep, KL Rahul, Sai Sudarshan, and Yashasvi Jaiswal.
