After seeing Nitish Reddy's crushing of Scott Boland in Friday's second Test of the five-match series between Australia and India at Adelaide Oval, Jasprit Bumrah lost all self-control. When Reddy played his ridiculous shot, India's talismanic fast bowler was at the non-striker's end, and he may have had the best view of that hammering.

Every international squad needs pace-bowling all-rounders, and Nitish Reddy, who has had some respectable appearances early in his Test career, has recently emerged as a contender in the Border-Gavaskar Trophy. Reddy has the potential to become one of India's future international cricket stars, it is reasonable to assume.

Nitish Reddy gave a stunning show:

Boland went for a length delivery around the off stump on the second ball of the 42nd over. Nitish had previously decided to attempt a reverse scoop, and the ball went all the way for six, spanning the longest section of the ground, thanks to an incredible connection.

When Reddy made that shot against Boland, who had already dismissed Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill, Bumrah was ecstatic. Nitish played the bowler like a schoolchild, even on his best day. Bumrah loved it more than anybody else, and his response when he got the fist bump said it all.

The Indian team was in danger of collapsing completely, and things were looking very grim for them. Before Reddy's amazing effort, the Indian hitters were being dominated by the Australian bowlers. Against Scott Boland, the smart knock also featured a skillfully performed reverse ramp that cleared the third-man area for an amazing six. The 21-year-old star's intention was evident in what was maybe one of the most inventive pictures in the series to date.

Even if the Australians are leading the day thus far, the Test match is still far from over, and it will be intriguing to see if they can maintain their batting supremacy against an impressive Indian bowling attack.
