According to sources, Kohli's entire bat contract is valued at almost INR 100 crore. His bat sponsor, MRF, pays him about INR 12.5 crore annually. In contrast, Rohit's batsman contract with CEAT Tires is worth about INR 4 crore annually. Team India skipper Rohit Sharma has the second-highest batsman contract in the world with CEAT, another tyre company. Australian opener David Warner, who will captain the Delhi Capitals in the 2023 Indian Premier League, is ranked third on this list. Warner has a yearly bat sponsorship agreement worth Rs 3.3 crore with the DSC brand.

Rohit and Kohli are expected to be key players for India in the 2025 Champions Trophy. Recently, they had both been having trouble scoring runs with the bat. However, Kohli struck a fluid half-century in the third ODI in Ahmedabad, while Rohit hammered a scorching century in the second ODI against England in Cuttack.
