Star India wicketkeeper-batsman Rishabh Pant recently appeared on well-known Indian comedian and YouTuber Tanmay Bhat's channel, where they responded to multiple cricket memes, in a masterful fusion of sports and fun. But one particular response to an outdated meme has gone viral. When Pant, Bhat, and the other participants in the film saw an old clip of India pacer Mohammed Siraj declaring his official Instagram account, they all burst out laughing. The Mohammed Siraj Meme made the LOL.

Siraj tells his supporters in the quite old video that he only had one account and that all other accounts are false. Pant finds the meme amusing as Siraj explains, "The only account that I use is Mohammed Siraj Official. The rest are all fake IDs." In just over a day after it was uploaded, the video—which was hosted on Bhat's "Tanmay Bhat" YouTube channel—has received more than 1.5 million views and 120,000 likes. In June 2024, India won the 2024 T20 World Cup in the USA and the West Indies as colleagues of Pant and Siraj.

Old Mohammed Siraj Meme goes viral:

Team India is scheduled to return for a two-match Test series against Bangladesh at home after more than a month without any cricket action. Siraj and Pant are both included in India's series squad. A few weeks ago, Bangladesh surprised Pakistan by winning both of their Test matches 2-0 in Pakistan. As a result, the team captained by Najmul Hossain Shanto will be very confident when they travel to Chennai for the first Test.

In addition, this will be Team India's first red ball series under new head coach Gautam Gambhir. Despite having Shubman Gill and Jasprit Bumrah in the squad, Gambhir and the BCCI have surprisingly not picked a vice-captain for the visit.
