It was imperative that Team India make quick runs on Day 4 of the second Test match against Bangladesh. India surpassed Bangladesh's first-inning total of 233 runs thanks to the likes of Rohit Sharma, Yashasvi Jaiswal, Shubman Gill, Virat Kohli, Rishabh Pant, and KL Rahul, who all seemed to be firing on all cylinders.

However, India's plan was not without a price, particularly for Kohli, who found it difficult to continue because of the intense heat in Kanpur. In actuality, Virat Kohli appeared to be dehydrated and required some care from the medical staff. At the Green Pak Stadium in Kanpur, Kohli was sitting on the ground, unable to survive the weather. The medical crew arrived to tend to him. It seems like the medical staff attempted to treat his dehydration by wrapping a moist cloth around his head.

Virat Kohli gets medical attention:

At the end of the fourth day of play, Bangladesh was 26 runs behind India's first-innings total. By day's end on Day 4, Bangladesh had already lost two wickets for a total of 26 runs, both of which were claimed by R Ashwin. The day's thrilling play on a largely bright day in Kanpur was summed up by the 437 runs that were made in the 85 overs that were bowled. Additionally, 18 wickets were claimed.

India became the quickest team to hit the 50, 100, and 200-run mark in a Test inning. Skipper Rohit Sharma took the mantle and spelt out the method India was going to approach for their opening inning. India was scoring at a whooping 14+ run pace in the first three overs. While wickets were falling one after the other, India amassed runs at an incredible run rate of 8.22.
