With new information coming out virtually every day, the Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia dispute is still making headlines. The controversy began when Ranveer made a 'sex with parents' remark on Samay's India's Got Latent broadcast. Numerous FIRs were filed against the comedian and the YouTuber as a result of the shock and overwhelming online outcry caused by the joke.
YouTuber Ranveer Allahbadia was also criticized by the Supreme Court for his offensive comments, calling them "vulgar" and even saying that he should be "ashamed" of what he had done. A social media video purports to show police arresting individuals, presumably from a residential neighbourhood. As two males are apprehended by police, a sizable throng is visible on the scene, and some people can be heard arguing in the background.

Two males are seen being arrested by the police in a video that has gone viral. Numerous people have asserted that the males in this video are Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia. Cross-referencing the information, however, revealed that they are not Samay and Ranveer. The footage, which was taken in 2023, depicts a police arrest connected to a parking conflict in Greater Noida. It is unrelated to the controversy surrounding India's Got Latent.
After the contentious joke on the "India's Got Latent" episode, Samay Raina and Ranveer Allahbadia were allegedly arrested by police from their residences, according to those who shared the video. Daya Shankar and Hriday Shankar are the two individuals who were arrested in the previously stated video. For those who don't know, Samay Raina isn't in India right now. Following the SC ruling, he recently had his first live concert in Canada. However, since the scandal started, Ranveer has been keeping quiet.
In response to the Supreme Court's ruling regarding Ranveer, the YouTuber was given bail. Nevertheless, the Supreme Court has criticized Allahbadia, saying, "The words you have chosen, the parents will feel ashamed, daughters and sisters will feel ashamed, your younger brother will feel ashamed, the entire society will feel ashamed. We would like to know, in this country, if this is not obscenity then what is the standard of obscenity?"
