13-YO Prodigy Vaibhav Suryavanshi Excited to Train Under Dravid in RR

India U19 star Vaibhav Suryavanshi is thrilled to be playing for the Rajasthan Royals in the next Indian Premier League season under Rahul Dravid, the coach who won the 2024 T20 World Cup. The 13-year-old Suryavanshi, who was purchased for INR 1.10 crore in the IPL 2025 super auction held in Jeddah last month, will undoubtedly have the chance to learn from Dravid, who has expertise coaching both the India U19 team and the senior Indian men's team.

Delhi Capitals and Rajasthan Royals fought for the services of the teenage player from Bihar. In the end, the Royals were able to get Suryavanshi at the IPL 2025 mega auction for an incredible Rs 1.10 crore. Vaibhav told India Today, "It feels great, first of all, I will get to play IPL. I am happy that I will get to play under Rahul, sir. I am happy about that the most as he is a really big player, he has a lot of experience. He has also coached India and has played for the country, so I am excited."

Suryavanshi, who concluded the season with 176 runs at an average of 44 in the five games he played, was one of the talented Indian players who made an impression with their exploits at the U19 Asia Cup. The youngest player to be purchased at auction who is younger than the IPL itself is Vaibhav. One of the best cricket minds in India will collaborate with each other as Rahul Dravid rejoined the Rajasthan Royals as head coach.
