Kuldeep Yadav, an Indian left-arm wrist spinner, is well-known for his impact and efficacy in the middle overs of a Twenty20 match. He has consistently taken wickets for the team that can alter the course of a game with pivotal middle-overs strikes.

With the wicket of Ryan Rickelton in the current match between the Delhi Capitals and the Mumbai Indians, the Indian spinner joined an elite group of bowlers. Tiwari took Rickelton's catch of Kuldeep's bowling, which was the bowler's 100th victim of the competition. In 97 matches, Kuldeep has achieved the milestone.

In the eighth over, the left-arm wrist spinner was added to the attack. Suryakumar Yadav's sweep took a top-edge that went to the left of Mukesh Kumar at short fine-leg, giving Kuldeep a chance off the third ball he delivered. Mukesh scrambled and attempted a full-stretch dive, but he was unable to reach the ball. Since he nearly handed his side a breakthrough, Kuldeep would have felt unfairly treated. But he didn't have to wait long to rejoice as a wicket fell.

Kuldeep Yadav Creates New Record:

Rickelton tried a slog sweep off the next delivery, but the ball struck the bat's bottom half. The South African wicketkeeper-batter was removed for 25 after facing 18 balls when debutant Madhav Tiwari went quickly to his right from deep square leg and held onto an outstanding catch.

In the tournament's history, Kuldeep Yadav became the 29th bowler to achieve this distinction. He is the 22nd Indian bowler to accomplish this in the eyes of Indians. Throughout his career, Kuldeep has played for the Delhi Capitals, Kolkata Knight Riders, and Mumbai Indians, three IPL clubs. In the IPL, he has played for both the Knight Riders and the Capitals. Kuldeep has taken 40 wickets for the Knight Riders despite taking 60 for the Capitals.
