On Sunday, November 24, in the Saudi Arabian city of Jeddah, the player bidding wars between the teams at the IPL 2025 (Indian Premier League) mega auction began. Notably, MS Dhoni, the former Chennai Super Kings (CSK) captain, surprised Dwayne Bravo, a current mentor of the Kolkata Knight Riders (KKR) and a former colleague, with a video call. 'Captain Cool' made a move that was considered heart-warming.

The CSK's social media handle posted a video of Dwayne Bravo looking at a computer screen and laughing aloud while a CSK member gave him a Bluetooth earphone. Bravo spent an incredible 10 seasons playing for CSK under Dhoni's leadership and was instrumental in their three championship victories in 2011, 2018, and 2021. Bravo ended up laughing and being shocked at the same time when he realized it was a video call and that the caller was none other than MS Dhoni.
