On Monday, November 25, Chennai Super Kings made the decision to compete on Day 2 of the IPL 2025 Auction in order to acquire lanky left-arm bowler Gurjapneet Singh and bolster their roster. Fans were intrigued by Gurjapneet's bid on Monday since the five-time winners were determined to land the left-arm pacer.

Following his acquisition by the Chennai Super Kings, the joint-most successful team, for INR 2.2 crore, left-arm pacer Gurjapneet Singh garnered headlines. Gurjapneet, who stands 6'3", adds a distinctive left-arm pace option to the team's bowling arsenal. Gurjapneet, who was born in Ludhiana, Punjab, and grew up in Ambala, Haryana, relocated to Chennai when she was seventeen years old.
