India was knocked out for 233 runs on Day 4 of the second Test match against Bangladesh. It's important to remember that the muddy outfield and nonstop rain forced the cancellation of Days 2 and 3. Rohit Sharma and Yashasvi Jaiswal were in fine form as India began their batting at the Green Park Stadium in Kanpur, mimicking their T20-style batting.

In just four overs, the pair amassed over 50 runs for the first wicket. After scoring a blistering 23 off 11 at a strike rate of 209, Rohit left the team. Jaiswal then partnered with Shubman Gill. For the second wicket, both hitters put together a 72-run stand. India achieved the milestone in just 10.1 overs, setting a record for the fastest side to reach 100 in Test cricket during this blitzkrieg. Jaiswal scored two maximums and 12 boundaries to finish his innings at 72 off 51.
