On Saturday, during Day 3 of the India vs. West Indies Test in Ahmedabad, senior batsman KL Rahul and India's Test captain Shubman Gill were spotted dancing on the field. The atmosphere in the Indian camp was naturally lighthearted, with the hosts having total control of the game and the visitors in ruins.
As Jasprit Bumrah got ready to bowl his next delivery during the first session of Day 3, Gill was observed giving Rahul a dance move. The move was immediately imitated by the latter. On social media, the brief video of their dance became viral very fast.
Rahul was shown a fast dance step by Gill, who was the first to start moving. As the two repositioned themselves in the slip cordon, the latter joined in, imitating the gesture. After India declared overnight at 448/5 with a massive 286-run lead, Ravindra Jadeja (3/30 in 11 overs), who was undefeated at 104, ripped through the brittle Windies batting order.

Important wickets were also taken by Mohammed Siraj (1/16) and Kuldeep Yadav (1/15). Given the weakness of the Windies' batting lineup, India's declaration set the tone and virtually guaranteed the result. However, the West Indies have found it difficult to counter India's bowling attack. They were compelled to continue after being bundled out for just 162 in the opening inning.
While Jasprit Bumrah (3/42) and Kuldeep Yadav (2/25) kept the visitors under strain, Mohammed Siraj claimed four wickets with his blistering deliveries. Jadeja swept through the middle order in the second innings, taking three quick wickets. Siraj unleashed another blast, quickly dispatching Jomel Warrican and Justin Greaves. The tourists are headed for an innings loss with just one wicket remaining and a deficit of over 150 runs to cover.
