According to the updated schedule, the BCCI decided Monday to start the IPL season at six different locations on May 17 and hold the final on June 3. Pakistan attempted to enter Indian airspace near Chandigarh, causing a blackout in the stadium and prompting the cancellation of the Punjab Kings vs. Delhi Capitals match, which put an end to the IPL on May 8. However, once India and Pakistan agreed to a ceasefire in their border dispute, the board authorities made the decision to quickly resume the league.

Soon, the precise locations for the playoffs will be revealed. The remaining league games will be held at Bengaluru, Jaipur, Delhi, Lucknow, Mumbai, and Ahmedabad. On Tuesday, May 27, the group-stage matches are expected to come to an end. Due to practical considerations for the teams, the new timetable is significantly different from the original.

IPL 2025 Full Revised Schedule:

Additionally, the updated IPL dates conflict with the planned India a trip to England, where they will play two four-day games against the Lions on May 30 and June 6. Before the senior team's June 20 tour of England, a few of the top contenders and first-choice Test players are anticipated to be selected in the India A squad. Since the India A team will be revealed in a day or two, we await the BCCI's response to this discrepancy.
